Private Real Estate Investment Firm
1,200 SF interior renovation, live work space
New York, NY
Based in Japan, the real estate investment firm that set up shop in a unit inside this former JP Morgan Chase building needed more than just an office space for the four employees but also a place where the company’s president can call home. To achieve the need for a live-work space, a wall bed was installed in the president’s bedroom which turned into a professional office by day and a comfortable bedroom by night. Outside of this room were three open workstations and one private office. Low partitions separated the workstations and the pantry while allowing daylight to penetrate deep into the space.
